About
Kate McHugh is a sustainability leader with a background in strategy, transformation, and supply chain. Her operational experience sets her apart in an area practised largely by corporate affairs and marketing executives.
Kate has a broad range of cross-sector experience, including financial services and insurance, supply chain and logistics, retail, agriculture and manufacturing. She has a reputation for reliability, with a fresh and honest approach.
Entrepreneurial by nature, Kate is also the founder of food waste minimisation app, KitchenHand.io. She is a global ambassador for EyeSea, and a Climate Reality Leader.
She is tertiary qualified in environmental science and law, has a postgraduate (Masters) in organisational change and communication, and has certifications in sustainability frameworks including GRI and TCFD, and has led climate-related disclosure projects for Australia’s largest insurance firms.
