I'm Kate McHugh. I've got a zest for life and love sails, trails and good food. I'm passionate about sustainability and my purpose in life is to leave the things I touch in better shape than I found them. Growing up I went to six schools, so you could say I'm good at mixing out of necessity, although I describe myself as an ambivert. I enjoy learning what makes people tick - friends and clients. Possibly you'll be both.
I'm a sustainability executive with deep supply chain and strategy experience. I offer in house and consulting services across a broad range of industries including finance and agriculture. I'm also working on some projects on resolving food waste. I love collaborating. Get in touch if you'd like to work together.
Pro Bono
I'm an ambassador for EyeSea (an app charting ocean waste), a Climate Reality Leader trained by Al Gore and the newsletter editor and sustainability cheerleader at Double Bay Sailing Club. If you'd like to get involved with any of these projects, or have something else you'd like me to help you with, get in touch using the comment form below!
My motto is "suck the marrow out of life". I'm a competitive masters sailor, very ordinary trail plodder and beginner surf ski paddler. I love good coffee, food, the occasional beverage, conversation, humour and friends. I've just got my learner's license for a motorbike and am the proud owner of an electric moped.
